H. C. R. 4 -- "Raising a Joint Assembly to hear an address by His Excellency, the Governor."
Whereas, His Excellency, the Governor, has advised that he will be pleased to address a joint assembly of the Senate and House of Delegates at the convenience of the two houses; therefore, be it
Resolved by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That His Excellency, the Governor, be hereby invited to address the Legislature at 7:00 o'clock postmeridian this day; and be it
Further Resolved, That the President of the Senate and Speaker of the House of Delegates appoint three members of each of the respective houses of the Legislature as a committee to wait upon His Excellency, the Governor, and escort him into the Hall of the House of Delegates at the time herein appointed for hearing the address.
